2023! January is always filled with new beginnings and optimism for the year ahead. I hope everyone achieves all you set out to do. If you have fitness goals I have programs coming up that will help you out.  

Strength class with start again on the 10th. Those of you that attend will receive your registration info soon. If you are interested in getting involved I will be having a workshop for those that have not attended but want to start. 

January 18th there will be a hip mobility and strength workshop. This will be ideal for those of you dealing with back, hip or knee pain. Suitable for you if you are looking  to improve your hip strength for everyday life with optimal movement or if you are looking to improve your athletic performance.

There will be a kettlebell workshop for those asking about joining in the kettlebell class. 

I have a few in studio personal training spots opening up in January for anyone wanting to add some one on one training sessions to help you hit your goals sooner.

TIP OF THE MONTH: CHANGE ONE THING AT A TIME
Thinking of making a bunch of new years resolutions? Have a list of all the things you want to change to improve your health?

There is something about the hype of a new year and a new beginning that have people feeling so motivated to make some important changes. Unfortunately for a lot of people that feeling does not last and those new changes quickly lose priority in their life. The overwhelm of trying to change to much at once just becomes so much. 

So what is a good strategy to help you stick with it? Try picking one thing you know you need to change. Add in more exercise, get more sleep, eat higher quality foods, leave toxic people behind. Try starting with what you think will be the easiest to change. Once you master that then move on to the next thing.

Before you know it you will have a smooth transition to a healthier lifestyle and it will seem easy. If you need help and accountability with sticking to your new goals message me to join me for some personal training.
